Joined walkerwarren associates ltd in September 2006 as Associate Director following 10 successful years as Co-Founder and Managing Director of FPA Consulting Ltd., a strategic contracting and procurement business, formed from the privatisation of the UK rail industry.          

Prior to 1996 John was Director of Procurement and Materials Management for the British Railways Board, having previously worked for the British Shipbuilding Corporation where he held a number of Board appointments with commercial and operational responsibilities across various Subsidiary Companies.           

A Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, John served as President of the Southern Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce and a Director of Business Link Derbyshire from 2001 to 2003.
